Terms & referral rules

The app

After School Life sells access to the After School Life web app for $9.95 AUD (including GST if applicable). It is general information and education only. It is not financial product, credit, legal or tax advice, and calculator results are illustrative estimates only. See the full disclaimer. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

Refunds

The app is a digital product with instant access, so the $9.95 fee is non-refundable for change of mind, including if you decide you no longer want it or bought by mistake. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If the app has a major failure, for example it doesn't work and we can't fix it within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund. Contact brettltcz@gmail.com.

Your licence

Buying gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on up to 3 of your own devices. You may not share your login or access link, copy, record, republish, resell or redistribute the content, calculators, text, illustrations or design, in whole or in part. All content is protected by copyright. We may suspend or close accounts that are shared or misused, without a refund, to the extent the law allows.

Who can earn referral rewards

Anyone who has bought the app gets a personal referral link and code. To receive payments you must set up a Stripe payout account and pass Stripe's identity checks. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must set up and agree to the payout account with you.

How much you earn

You earn 25% of the price paid (currently $2.49) for each new customer who buys using your link or code. There is no limit on the number of referrals. Rewards are paid for direct referrals only. There are no rewards for the people your friends refer.

When you get paid

Earnings are held for 14 days in case of a refund. After that, they are paid to your Stripe account once your ready balance is at least $15.00. Payouts are usually sent once a month. If a sale is refunded, its reward is cancelled, or taken off a future payment if it was already paid.

Fair play

• Each person has one referral code, and each buyer can earn a reward for only one referrer, once.
• You can't use your own code, a second email address or your own card, or buy extra copies to earn rewards. Rewards are automatically refused when this is detected.
• Rewards are cancelled for refunded or disputed (charged-back) sales.
• Don't spam people, post your link where it isn't allowed, or make false or misleading claims about the app or how much people can earn.
• Don't pay for ads that use the After School Life name without permission.

We can cancel rewards and close referral accounts that break these rules.

Tax

Referral rewards are income. You are responsible for any tax on what you earn. We may ask for details needed to meet our tax obligations.

Changes

We may change the reward amount or end the referral program with notice on this page. Rewards already earned before a change will still be paid under the old rules.
